Speaking enquiries. If you send an enquiry through the form on this site, what you type (your name, organisation, email address and the details of your event) is stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and emailed to me so I can reply. I use it only to answer your enquiry. Netlify handles form submissions under Netlify's privacy policy.
Site statistics. I use Google Analytics in a restricted, statistics-only setup: it tells me which pages get visited and whether the site is working, nothing more. It is configured with advertising features and data sharing switched off, no cross-site tracking, IP addresses anonymised, and data kept for two months. Under UK law (PECR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) this kind of first-party analytics doesn't require a consent banner, but you can still switch it off for your browser:
Analytics is currently ON for this browser.
Under UK GDPR you can ask me what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email hwhcarts@gmail.com and I'll sort it. If you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to the ICO.
